Dr. Raymond Ng
“Governments and health care systems, the world over, are working hard to implement Advance Care Planning (ACP) as a cornerstone of person-centred care. ACP is multidimensional and context and culture specific. We are always learning new ways of doing better. The ACP-international Society brings together thought leaders and practitioners from the world over in this shared endeavour. As a member of the Society, I have enjoyed access to discounted rates to the biennial ACP-i conference, online learning resources in ACP including material from past conferences, the latest updates on news and events and multiple opportunities to network with fellow professionals working in the field. What I learnt in these interactions and platforms has deeply informed how I educate my colleagues and support the growth of ACP in my country. Join the ACP-i Society as a member and join a growing global community passionate about putting dignity, respect and personhood, at the centre of care. “
Dr Raymond Ng leads the Palliative and Supportive Care team at Woodlands Health as well as co-chairs the national Advance Care Planning Steering Committee in Singapore. He trained in Family Medicine and in Palliative Medicine. He strongly believes that it is never too early to have a conversation about What Matters with those who matter to us.

“The greatest benefit I’ve experienced being an ACP-i member is the exposure to different people and perspectives from around the world. The learning and engagement with these folks (either virtually or in person) have broadened my knowledge, made me feel like my struggles and successes are shared with others (I’m not alone), and most importantly the network of colleagues and friends who are forever with me – thank you ACP-i!”
Dr. Stephanie Anderson, executive director of C-TAC Innovations, works with organizations and states to lead programs and projects that provide more holistic care to people by redesigning systems that make innovations available at scale, including ACP, to individuals living with serious illness, their families and caregivers who need and benefit from them.
